Red Spot Gallery: This exciting gallery which opened early in 2010 is Rotorua’s only dedicated contemporary Art Gallery.
It showcases an outstanding collection of paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramic and timber works of art with a focus on superb quality, design and originality. Housed in a significant heritage building in Rotorua’s inner city which has been transformed into a stunning modern art space, Red Spot Gallery is attracting visitors and artists alike to view an ever changing range of the latest in contemporary art. There is a private viewing/lounge area for the serious art collector.
Regular exhibitions by established artists are a feature of the gallery and the artists featured include those from around the Bay of Plenty as well as prominent artists from further afield.
There is an Emerging Artists Program to highlight new and innovative work being produced and an exciting calendar of events planned for 2013.
