Artist Statement:
The purpose of my art is to explore and learn as much as possible from past and present artists. Through observation of works by other artists I am able to try different techniques and apply paint in ways previously unfamiliar. As a self taught artist this has been my direction and as I discover new and interesting works I am driven to try and emulate what makes those works appeal. My subject matter consists of found objects that appear to have their own stories to tell as well as our surrounding environment be it man made or natural.
